A Belgian Love Story in the Heart of Tuscany

Some love stories are just meant to come full circle. A couple of years ago, I had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful, intimate proposal—just the two of them, lost in the magic of the moment. Fast forward to today, and here we were again, in the stunning Tuscan countryside at Quercia al Poggio, celebrating their wedding day.

When they reached out to book me for their wedding, I felt incredibly honored. There’s something truly special about following a couple’s journey from the very beginning and being trusted to document their most important milestones. And let me tell you, this wedding was everything you’d dream of when thinking about an intimate celebration in Tuscany.

The setting? Absolutely breathtaking. Quercia al Poggio, with its rolling vineyards and rustic charm, provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and romantic day. The guest list was kept small—just a handful of their closest friends and family, creating an atmosphere that felt warm, personal, and full of love.

Everything was flowing so beautifully, with laughter, good wine, and that unmistakable Tuscan golden light. And then—because every wedding needs a little unexpected twist—the rain decided to make a brief appearance. The ceremony had to pause for five minutes, but honestly? It only added to the magic. There’s something about the way rain freshens the air, deepens the colors, and makes everything feel even more alive. Plus, the couple just laughed it off, completely embracing the moment.

Once the vows were exchanged and happy tears were shed, the celebrations continued in the most effortless way—delicious Italian food, heartfelt toasts, and golden-hour portraits that felt like they belonged in a movie.

This wedding was a reminder of why I love what I do. The connection, the trust, the little unplanned moments that make a day even more perfect than imagined. A big thank you to this beautiful couple for letting me be part of their story once again. Tuscany, you’ve done it again!
