Some weddings may be small in size, but they are huge in emotions—and this one was no exception! This intimate Turkish micro wedding took place at the stunning Castello di Oliveto, just a short drive from my studio in Tuscany. The setting was perfect: a historic castle, golden light, and a couple madly in love.
The day started with an emotional first look, just the two of them. There’s something so special about these private moments before the ceremony—no distractions, just pure connection. They took a deep breath together, shared a few tears, and then it was time to say “I do.”
The ceremony itself? Quick, simple, and straight to the point. No long speeches, no elaborate setup—just love, a few chosen guests, and the beauty of the moment. After the “yes,” we had only a few minutes for the couple’s portraits, which meant working fast, finding the best light, and making every shot count. This is why I love micro weddings—they keep me sharp, pushing me to capture the essence of the day in just a few hours.
Then came dinner and the party, and let me tell you, they knew how to celebrate! Great food, laughter, dancing—it was the perfect way to wrap up such an intense and beautiful day.
Every time I shoot a micro wedding, I’m reminded of why I love them so much. The challenge of condensing everything into a short timeframe, the deep emotions, the intimate atmosphere—it’s a photographer’s dream. A huge thank you to this incredible couple for letting me be part of their day. Tuscany always delivers, and so do love stories like this one!
