There’s always a first time and, for me, this was the first time I had the pleasure to shot a same sex wedding.

This meant a lot to me since I’ve always believed in marriage equality and finally we are coming out from a dark age. I still remember one of the first question I got from John: “have you ever shot a gay wedding?”.

The answer was that I shot weddings, it does not matter if there are 2 women, 2 men or a straight couple. Love is love, no matter what people is going to call your wedding.

 

It was a honour to be part of this great day, John and Joey helped each other during the getting ready and you could feel the chemistry, you could feel their deep bond and it was just beautiful.

The wedding took place into the beautiful Fattoria di Cinciano at Poggibonsi, Tuscany and was perfectly planned by Mascia from Happening.

 

I loved this wedding since it was very emotional but also very fun with some of the most epic speeches ever (Joey’s cousin, I am talking about you !) and we also had the chance to shot with interesting lights both indoor and outdoor.
