Buccelletti is one of those places in Tuscany where everything feels balanced: history, elegance, calm countryside and a team that truly knows how to host international weddings. This American Catholic wedding was a perfect example of how tradition and Tuscany can blend naturally into a timeless celebration.
The couple, elegant and refined, came from the United States to get married in Tuscany, choosing Buccelletti as their base for the day. They got ready at the venue in a relaxed but emotional atmosphere.
Knowing Buccelletti very well and having worked there many times before made everything smoother: timing, movements and light were all easy to manage thanks to familiarity with the spaces.
For the ceremony we headed to the church for a traditional Catholic wedding. It was intense, heartfelt, and deeply meaningful. These are always moments where photography needs to be respectful, discreet, and ready to capture emotions as they unfold naturally.
Because the schedule was full, and many things were planned before dinner, we anticipated the couple photoshoot. Light conditions were not the easiest but that’s where experience in Tuscany really matters. We mixed indoor spaces, shaded areas,and then moved to one of my favorite spots close to Buccelletti: a beautiful road lined with cypress trees. That stretch of road is a gift for photographers since the trees help soften the light and create a classic Tuscan atmosphere that works perfectly even in challenging conditions.
The result was a relaxed and elegant photoshoot that fit seamlessly into the day without adding stress for the couple.
It was great to be back at Buccelletti once again, a venue I truly feel at home in. A big thank you to the wonderful staff, especially Chiara and Renee, for their constant support throughout the day.
