Not every wedding needs a full 8–10 hour coverage to be meaningful and complete.
In some cases a short wedding photography service (about 3 hours with a single photographer) can be the perfect solution. It’s obviously not comparable to a full-day reportage, but, for couples with a smaller budget or a very focused timeline, it can still tell the story in a beautiful and honest way.
When everything is well planned and the couple is relaxed, it’s absolutely possible to cover the getting ready, the ceremony, and a short couple session within a limited amount of time. The key is simplicity, trust, and knowing exactly what matters most.
This was exactly the case with this wedding.
I was really happy to be able to follow the entire flow of the day in just a few hours, without rushing and without losing the emotional side of the story.
The couple, an American bride and groom, were absolutely beautiful and incredibly easy to work with. They were open, present, and genuinely enjoying every moment, something that always makes a huge difference when time is limited. It was a real pleasure getting to know them and photographing their connection.
The setting was the stunning Villa Barberino, a place that offers elegance, calm, and incredible light, all surrounded by the Tuscan countryside near Cavriglia. A location like this helps everything flow naturally and allows you to move quickly without sacrificing atmosphere.
Short wedding coverage isn’t for everyone but when it fits the couple’s vision it can be a smart, meaningful, and budget-friendly choice. What matters most is being fully present, making the most of the time available, and focusing on what truly tells the story.
And when all those elements come together, even a few hours are more than enough.
