There are places that go beyond being just a wedding venue. Places that feel alive, familiar, almost personal. For me, Castello di Badia is exactly that.
It’s one of the places I love the most on Earth. I honestly feel like I know every stone of it, every corner, every hidden spot, how the light behaves with a clear sky or with soft clouds, where to stand at the right moment, when to wait, when to move. Over the years, it has become my playground—in the best possible sense—and every time I work here I feel completely at home.
This wedding was a beautiful outdoor celebration, elegant, emotional, and full of life. The couple was absolutely stunning, with a natural grace that made everything feel effortless. From the very first moments, emotions were flowing freely: tears of joy, heartfelt smiles, laughter that echoed through the courtyard. Nothing was held back, and that’s always a gift for a photographer.
What I loved most was how genuine everything felt. No forced poses, no unnecessary distractions, just two people deeply connected, surrounded by their closest friends and family, sharing one of the most important days of their lives in an extraordinary place.
Photographing a wedding at Castello di Badia always feels special, but days like this are a reminder of why I do what I do. Being trusted to tell such a meaningful story, in a place that means so much to me, is something I’ll never take for granted.
It was a great day.
And I truly felt lucky to be there.
