But what I had to use a digital camera from the \u201c<strong>old times<\/strong>\u201d ?<\/p>\n<p>would my photography be so much worse ?\u00a0would I shot the same kind of pictures ?<\/p>\n<p>Would I be able to shot good pictures without the aid from the last <strong>technology<\/strong> ?<\/p>\n<p>I think I can and to prove it I just bought from a colleague one of the <strong>first digital full frame cameras<\/strong> from Canon, the <strong>Canon 5d Old<\/strong> (mk 1) and a very <strong>cheap<\/strong> 50mm f1.8.<\/p>\n<p>This camera was built in 2005, 12 years ago,\u00a0in technology we are almost talking about the <strong>stone age<\/strong>. it has few options, poor dynamic range, poor autofocus, a small-greenish-unsharp LCD and, to be honest, it\u2019s quite ugly and heavy.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1941\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mipstudiowedding.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/img07_l(pp_w768_h575).jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"599\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mipstudiowedding.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/img07_l%28pp_w480_h359%29.jpg 480w,https:\/\/www.mipstudiowedding.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/img07_l%28pp_w768_h575%29.jpg 768w,https:\/\/www.mipstudiowedding.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/img07_l.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\"><\/p>\n<p>By the way I\u2019m a Nikon shooter so everything would be new to me but this is the <strong>challenge<\/strong>, this is the <strong>fun<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the next month I will take the cheap gear with me for some <strong>shooting<\/strong> and <strong>travel<\/strong> (not for my wedding of course!) and will use it as main camera with the <strong>tiny 50mm<\/strong> attached, maybe I\u2019ll add a <strong>vintage 24mm<\/strong> for some wideangle shot if needed.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m sure I\u2019ll have a lot of fun even if I\u2019ll have to struggle with an <strong>old technology<\/strong> that I\u2019m not used to, I\u2019m confindent I can use it with <strong>good results<\/strong> and I will post the pictures every tuesday .<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>stay tuned for more !<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 A modern,\u00a0updated and high level equipment is crucial for a wedding photographer, I\u00a0spend a lot of money about it every year to have the most useful tools for our job and that\u2019s one of the things that make us getting safer and more confident time after time.
